So, just catching up on Hussie's newest project, Paradox Space
...it's a very ambitious move by Hussie, a smart one even, to help prolong the life of the franchise. However...even though people were upset that the first series was sober Gamzee-centric, it's easily the most amusing short on the site as of now. And even the dialogue wasn't as good as Hussie's...I'd have to say, even at his worst, his writing and comedic timing is still stronger than anything PS has put up so far. Though I've said time and time again that I'm disappointed with Homestuck's current direction, but I guess I can say now that Hussie had a rare genius and what made the majority of so Homestuck good and compelling just wouldn't exist without him.
Maybe the reason I like it the best because we got a little more insight into what was once an intriguing character and a time full of interesting unanswered questions in the comic. So far, it's the only comic that's really useful for theory crafting, and most of the other comics feel inconsequential and a little pointless.
Also because the idea of Gamzee and Tavros sticking stickers on each other for fun during the time Tavros was alive amuses me to no end. Think of all the fun kinds of stickers you could use! Glittery ones! Pop up ones! Scratch and sniff! Stickers are great!Bonus Doodletumblr version
